1. Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how BeatFlow (“we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information when you use our mobile application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and clearly explaining how your data is used.
---
2. Data Stored on Your Device
BeatFlow is designed so that your personal content stays primarily on your device.
Notes
Notes you create in the app are stored only inside BeatFlow’s local storage on your device. They are not synced to our own servers.
Edited Videos
When you create or edit videos, you may choose to save them to your device’s library. Those videos are then stored by your device, not by us.
Local media playback
BeatFlow can access audio and video files that already exist on your device so you can play them inside the app. We do not upload those media files to our own servers.
If you uninstall the app or erase your device, data stored only in the app may be permanently removed.
---
3. Third-Party Services (Firebase & RevenueCat)
We use a small number of third-party services to help us keep BeatFlow stable and to manage optional paid subscriptions.
3.1 Google Firebase
We use Google Firebase only to help us understand and improve the technical performance and stability of BeatFlow.
Firebase services we may use include:
Crash reporting and diagnostics – to receive information when the app crashes or experiences errors, so we can identify and fix problems.
Performance monitoring – to measure things like launch time, screen load time, and other technical performance indicators.
The information Firebase may process includes:
device information (such as model, operating system version, and app version),
technical identifiers (for example, installation IDs),
basic information about how the app is performing (for example, whether a screen loaded successfully, or where a crash occurred).
We do not send the content of your notes, your personal photos, or your media files to Firebase.
You can learn more about how Google handles data here:

3.2 RevenueCat (Subscriptions & Purchases)
BeatFlow may offer optional paid subscriptions (for example, BeatFlow Pro). We use a third-party service called RevenueCat to help manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. RevenueCat is used to:
validate purchases with Apple,
keep track of which subscriptions are active, and
determine whether your account should have access to premium features.
Information RevenueCat may process includes:
purchase and subscription history (e.g., which product you bought and when),
anonymized or pseudonymous user identifiers,
device and app identifiers needed to manage entitlements and prevent fraud.
RevenueCat does not process your payment card details. All payments are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple may collect additional information as described in Apple’s own privacy policies and App Store terms.
We do not use RevenueCat to profile you for advertising; it is only used to manage access to subscriptions and purchases.
---
4. App Permissions
To provide its core features, BeatFlow may request access to:
Photo Library
Used to import videos or images into the app, and to save images or media that you create or edit back to your device.
Network Access
Used to communicate with our performance/diagnostics services (such as Firebase) and to verify and manage subscriptions and purchases via RevenueCat and the App Store.
Notifications (optional)
Used only if you enable them, for reminders or app-related alerts. You can change notification permissions at any time in your device settings.
We do not access your microphone, location, contacts, or other sensitive data unless a specific feature clearly requires it and you have granted permission.
---
5. Children’s Privacy
BeatFlow is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe that a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it where appropriate.
---
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. Your continued use of BeatFlow after any changes means you accept the updated policy.
---
